Attire required for 4H classes at the July show- TRAINING
Training Class has a $2 per horse entry fee collected at the gate or with ticket purchased at registration booth. NOT JUDGED- NOVICE classes are limited to NOVICE RIDERS ONLY (1st or 2nd yr of showing).
- Proper attire required for all classes. Long pants, English or Western riding boots, long-sleeved shirt, hat or helmet are required.
- No excessive use of whips, bats or spurs.
Comforts:
- Restrooms on grounds.
- Meimann Family Food Stand on grounds.
- Tack Store and Emergency Horse shoeing by Lee Holtmeyer.
- STALLS available for rent ($10/weekend-sawdust required). You must furnish your own sawdust bedding & clean out stall before leaving. Stall cleaning available for $20/stall. See registration table. For stall reservations: Call: 515-382-6560
- Water is available for horses.
- Camping on site: $10/weekend (Electricity available)
Cruelty:
No excessive use of whips, bats or spurs.
Decisions:
Judge and ring person have final decision.
Stallions:
- Stallions must be handled by persons 19 yrs and over.
- Stallions must be stalled or trailered at all times.
